Health & Safety

Construction is a high-risk industry that can present many different potential hazards. To meet this challenge, R2R is committed to working safely. Our goal is to create working conditions that promote safe, efficient operations and eliminate or control the hazards that cause accidents and injuries. All our workforce from management to site workers have designated health and safety responsibilities.​

R2R recognise and accepts our responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974
including the responsibility to:


1.1.1 provide and maintain a safe and healthy place of work
1.1.2 provide adequate information, instruction, training and supervision
1.1.3 provide and maintain plant and equipment and safe systems of work
1.1.4 ensure safe access to and from the places of work
1.1.5 work to prevent accidents and work related ill health

Environmental Policy

R2R Maintenance and Fire Stopping Limited is committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment.

​

Our key points of strategy to achieve this are:

​

  • Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

  • Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.

  • Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.

  • Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.

  • Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.

We ensure the companies and suppliers we work along side share the same values, and passion for sustainability and the environment that we, as a company, do.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Policy

As a company we want to ensure our staff have the resources and support when it comes to their mental health and wellbeing.
