We are pleased to let you know that R2R have now gained two new qualifications through BM Trada.
This now means we are fully certified for Fire Door Installation, and Fire Door Maintenance. As well as general Fire Stopping.
In our earlier blog post (What Does It Mean For You That R2R Are BMTrada Certified?) we highlighted what it means to you that we are fully certified, and the assurance that brings to you and the properties you manage. It is no different with the our new qualifications. You can rest assured knowing that the installation and maintenance of the vital Fire Doors in your properties are completed by a company who have passed qualifications and are monitored by BM Trada, the leading provider of third party certification.
There is a legal requirement for the manufacturers of fire doors to demonstrate the ability of their products to resist the passage and spread of fire. However, if they are not properly installed or maintained, their fire resistance capabilities can be seriously compromised.
The Fire Door Maintenance and installation scheme works by training an individual who takes responsibility for the training and the work carried out by a number of operatives. Our trained operative is Damian Walsh, one of our Directors. He oversees all Fire Stopping work that is done. And will only sign work as certified if it is completed to the highest standard, and in line with latest Government guidelines. Our teams are then trained under Damian’s guidance to ensure they complete these works to the same high standard.
